Preliminary HUD-1 Review:

Prior to closing, you will be able to review a preliminary HUD-1 settlement statement. This is usually given to you a day or two before closing, but may be adjusted with actual figures anytime prior to closing.

Closing:

Closing will be handled by a title company, escrow company, or attorney usually in the local area where the properties are purchased. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TRAVEL ANYWHERE to go to closing. The closing agent will arrange a REMOTE CLOSING where a 3rd party company will notarize documents. The closing can happen at your home, office, or a 3rd party escrow company in your local area.
